Designing EMO Oil’s B2C Platform with the objective of simplifying operations, reducing costs and building a foundation for EMO Oil to scale in future. 

EMO Oil (part of the DCC Oil group) came to us with the requirement to both create seamless functionality and user experience for their existing customer base.

Simplifying the experience of ordering heating oil

EMO Oil has operations in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Great Britain with significant growth across these geographies. EMO Oil had invested in digitizing back office operations using ERP platform. However, their end customers still do not have a digital solution to order online.


The aim of the project was to create a B2C Platform that will integrate with Emo Oil's current ERP system and provide ease of ordering to end customers. This platform will also allow EMO Oil to scale in future by doing marketing and advertising on the same platform. Lastly, since Ecommerce data will be captured in the B2C Platform this will allow EMO Oil management to view all data in an Admin portal to make data based decisions.
